Templates are the fastest way to a finished-looking poster or deck. They come pre-built with author blocks, figure frames, and section headings — you swap in your content and adjust the styling.
Browse and pick a template
- 1Go to Templates from your dashboard. They’re grouped by category — Academic Presentation, Conference Poster, Research Report, Lab Report, and more.
- 2Each card previews the real layout and is tagged Poster or PPT. Click Use template to create a project from it and open the editor.
Make it yours
- Text — double-click any text box to replace the placeholder copy with your title, authors, and sections.
- Figures — select a placeholder image and replace it, or delete it and drop in your own from Upload images.
- Colors — select a shape or text and change its color in the right-hand properties panel to match your institution’s palette.
Keep the layout intact
The template’s alignment is doing a lot of the design work for you. Editing text in place preserves it; if you move things around, the alignment guides and grid keep everything lined up — see Master snapping and alignment.
Tip
Lock structural elements — the background, header bar, footer — via the Layers panel so you don’t nudge them out of place while editing content.
